We had so much fun at the last very informative and DELICIOUS "A Night with the Chef" cooking class, we are doing it again!  

Join us for a hands-on cooking demonstration with Chef and Lost Oak Wine Club Member Scott Michael Dougherty.  Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA Scott graduated from Johnson & Wales University, Norfolk, VA in 1994 with a Culinary degree.  With 31 years of culinary experience, Scott is experienced in home style and regional cuisine, hotel catering and fine dining, corporate catering and café dining, menu planning and costing, kitchen operations and design. 

Scott will provide recipes, show us how to prepare the dish, and pair it with Lost Oak Wines.  Menu:

APPETIZER :Seared Crab Cake with Green Tomato Relish
SOUP: Chilled Gazpacho
ENTREE: "Hot & Cold" Sautéed Grilled Chicken & Asparagus over Composed Mediterranean Pasta Salad with Feta and Balsamic Glaze
DESSERT: Peaches Flambé & Ice Cream

Don't worry everyone, it's okay to drink white after labor day....  or red.  As long as it Texas wine and it's in your glass you will be just fine!

*Lost Oak Winery will be closed to the public today due to the Wicked Wine Run.  Guests who are not participating in the run are welcome to come to the Winery and enjoy the music and food trucks, but you will have to pay for parking.  $10 Burleson High School shuttle parking or $20 VIP parking (See below).  

The Wicked Wine Run comes home to where it all began - Lost Oak Winery!  Learn about the Wicked Wine Run and register to run on the Wicked Wine Run’s Website. If you have questions about the run, the fastest way you will get a response is by emailing the Wicked Wine Run directly at info@wickedwinerun.com.

Packet pick up is located at The Runner (located in Arlington, map) NOT Lost Oak Winery!  If you can't make it, you can send a friend-- just make sure you signed your online waiver and give him/her a copy of your ID. Race day packet pick up is available, but let's face it-- waiting in line for ages just plain sucks when all you want to do is run and get wicked. 

Parking Maps & Parking Details- Carpooling is cool and so are designated drivers! General Parking is $10 and will be at Burleson high School located at 100 Elk Dr, Burleson, TX 76028.  There will be continuous shuttle service to the vineyard. Onsite VIP Parking is $20 and located right at the vineyard. All parking passes can be purchased ahead of time during pre race packet pick up at The Runner or on race day. Please bring cash only on race day for General or VIP parking.

What to bring to the Wicked Wine Run? Most importantly bring your ID. Wear shoes best for grass and dirt terrain. Bring cash for parking, bag check, food trucks, vendor products, and MORE WINE. Pop up chairs and picnic blankets are just perfect to enjoy the vineyard and our wicked after party with live music.

What NOT to bring? Don't bring alcohol, per Texas law. Don't bring coolers, tables, or tents. We are unable to park RV's, buses, planes or ships.

Tempranillo 2017

This Tempranillo greets the eye with a beautiful garnet hue in color.  Light, smoke and mellow tobacco aromas greet this wine.  Rich cherries and vanilla compliment smoke and tobacco on the palate.  

We are also releasing Sauvignon Blanc 2017 as a Wine Club Member Exclusive!  We have limited quantity of this amazing Gold winner and want our members to have it!  This wine will only be available for purchase to Lost Oak Wine Club Members.

Enjoy live acoustic music while sipping this delicious wine.  Gourmet cheese boards and Boar's Head products for sale in the tasting room, along with our other award-winning Texas wines!  There is no cover to join us for the fun event.  Cheers!

Enjoy a magical evening of delicious dinner, live music, and and magic show!

North Texas' premier sleight of hand artist Braden Daniels leaves you breathless as you are taken on a fast-paced, fascinating and mind-blowing journey!  Enjoy a unique combination of magic, storytelling and improvisational comedy!   Audience participation throughout the show.

Braden has always had a passion for creating and performing magic.  His love for magic has taken him on a wonderful journey and he truly believes that great magic has the power to delight, astonish and inspire!  Braden performs regularly across the United States and is the creator of the Magic and Mystery Show performing at local theaters and event venues.

Before the magic show begins, enjoy a delicious dinner catered by Awesome Catering while listening to live music.  The Awesome dinner is "Mexican Magic Volcano Street Tacos:" Pastor style marinated chicken and pork served on a corn tortilla with mixed cheese, avocado sauce, salsa, limes, cilantro and pickled jalapenos.  Served with a side of beef chili and cheese nachos.
