You can taste wine everyday we that we are open (see Tasting Room hours on the right side of this page). If you are bringing a party of 10 or more, please call in advance. If you are considering a small birthday party, shower, etc., see this link.   Otherwise, there is no reservation required. You can taste five wines for $5 but the fee is waived with a purchase of two bottles or if you join Wine Club.
Guided Tour
The walking vineyard and winery tour is oftentimes given by the President - microbiologist turned winemaker and vintner. He is very dedicated to his work and will take you through the ins and outs of what to do (and not to do) in grape growing in Texas. You will have a chance to visit the wine making operations, learn about crush, fermentation, and specific challenges related to our wine making operations, a boutique winery undergoing extraordinary growth. You will learn about Pierce's Disease, a current struggle, irrigation, specific varietals that grow well in Texas amongst other things. After the tour, we will conduct a complimentary guided wine tasting of five wines of your choice ranging from sweet white wines like Sweet Moscato to big bold dry red wines such as Tempranillo.

We conduct tours by appointment only on Friday, at 1:00 pm, Saturday and Sunday at 1:00 and 3:00 p.m. or as needed, (facility use and event schedule permitting).  Please Email us your preferred tour date and time at least 72 hours in advance to schedule a tour. Tours book up quickly, so the best way to schedule your tour is via email, with your preferred date and time.  We'd love to host your group. The cost is $10 per person and we'll throw in the tasting complimentary. Plan for about one to one and a half hours, and wear comfortable shoes that can handle a gravel path and grassy terrain. We are handicap accessible!

Self-guided Tour
We also offer a Self-guided Vineyard Tour in case you'd like to walk the property at your own pace. Just ask us for a map of the property when you come in. This is free of charge and you don't have to schedule in advance.  Top off your self guided tour with a guided tasting at $5/person.
If you'd like to eat while hanging out, we always offer Gourmet Cheese Board with a selection of cheeses, salamis and seasonal fruits.  Pricing is $13.95 ($11.16 Wine Club member price) per board which serves two.  These are offered every day that Lost Oak winery is open (see Tasting Room hours on the right); no need to pre-order.

Offering picnics on the Lost Oak Nature Trail whenever we are open!  Enjoy a wine tasting, picnic, and hike or bike outing that's sure to be an afternoon of fun. Start off with a wine tasting in the Lost Oak tasting room to pick your favorite Lost Oak wine for your picnic. (You will need to purchase Lost Oak wine, per TABC regulations we cannot allow outside alcohol on the property).  The Lost Oak staff will pack into a picnic backpack for 2 or 4 your wine, glasses, gourmet cheeseboard, bluetooth speaker to pair your phone for music, and a blanket to relax on once you reach your destination.  Hike or bike the Lost Oak Nature Trial to a picturesque picnic spot. Once you arrive at your destination, enjoy your wine, snacks and music on the blanket while taking in the sights of nature and breathing fresh air.  After you have finished your picnic, continue to hike or bike the trail and vineyards.  Be sure to top off your afternoon by touring the grounds with the informative self-guided tour map.  To reserve your picnic experience, please call or Email us at least 48 hours in advance.  If you wish to bike instead of hike, bring your own bike or rent one from Spokes in Old Town Burleson.  (We do not have bikes here, but Spokes is nice and close!)  The cost of this afternoon picnic experience is $15 for a 2 person pack, $20 for a 4 person pack, plus the cost of wine and cheese board.  Picnics must be reserved in advance and must take place while we are open for business and during the daylight.  The earliest picnic we can do is noon, and the latest is 3 hours before dusk. Maximum time of pack rental is 3 hours.  We look forward to seeing you.
One word of caution: This is a wooded nature trail along a creek that we share with wildlife. Please come prepared for wild plants, insects and other critters. Closed-toe shoes are recommended.  There are no covered areas; however, there is nice natural tree canopy for shade.
