Wicked Wine Run

Date: Sat, Sep 8, 2018
Time 3:30 PM to 9:00 PM
Venue: Lost Oak Winery
Contact: Wicked Wine Run
Email: info@wickedwinerun.com

Hello, athletes.

Due to the virtual constant rain Lost Oak Winery has taken on this week and high propensity of severe weather through Saturday evening, we are forced to reschedule the the 11th Lost Oak Winery Wicked Wine Run for the safety of all participants. Packet pick up will also be rescheduled and will not be taking place today.
We've made this difficult decision after consulting with Lost Oak management, local officials and after a review of the property this evening following another heavy storm by our team. The majority of the three mile course and the field reserved for the festival is in no way safe for our participants to run on or will be by Saturday, as it continues to rain through Saturday evening.
The race will be rescheduled to March 23, 2019. All participants will be automatically transferred free of charge to that event. If that date does not work for you, you have three alternative options:
1. Transfer your registration to a family member or friend at no cost.
2. Transfer your registration to the Fredericksburg 9/22/18 WWR (event details)
3. Transfer your registration to the fall DFW 9/14/19 WWR
*Again, all participants have been automatically transferred to the rescheduled 3/23/19 event. However, if you would like to transfer your registration to another individual,  the 9/14/19 DFW event, or to the 9/22/18 Fredericksburg event please email us at transfers@wickedwinerun.com no later than 11/26/18 with your transfer request.
We regret any inconvenience the weather has caused and look forward to seeing you soon! If you have any questions please email us at dfw@wickedwinerun.com.

Start your race like any other, but that's where the ordinary stops. You'll celebrate your run unlike any event you've run before – WINE after your race or during! Stay, play and rock out with a live band, food trucks and MORE WINE from these award winning vineyards and wineries.

NO WINE SNOBS ALLOWED. Wear your most wicked costumes, funky hats, mascarade masks and bring your blankets to lay out and listen to great music, enjoy a wine tasting, take a tour or kick back as the sunsets on our picturesque venues.

CHOOSE YOUR RACE: 5K Wine Run with celebratory wine at the finish or 1K Tasting Walk with 4 wine tasting stops along the route...or BOTH!"
