The Estate Shiraz has a bright ruby hue. The bouquet is vivid with aromas of rich berry compote and a hint of lavender. Flavors of brilliant cherry and raspberry complement subtle notes of tea and spice on the finish. Chalky tannins and a full body make this an instant classic.

Shiraz, perhaps better known as Syrah, is the 7th most planted variety in the world. The two different names often refer to the style in which it is made. Syrah tends to be made in a more old-world style, earthy and savory. Shiraz, on the other hand, is more new-world, fruit-forward, and even jammy. The primary component of the Estate Shiraz was cultivated and made here on the property of Lost Oak Winery. Some of the vines are over 15 years old. This means a lower yield but much more distinguished characteristics.
