Tasting Notes
A bright and golden color clings to the glass as one swirls this Viognier. It opens up with aromas of light honeysuckles, golden apples, and a hint of soft minerality. The honeyed flavor carries over bringing with it gentle tropical notes of golden melon. The tropical flavors linger for a moment before giving way to a surprising zest of lemon and white peppercorn on the finish.

Food Pairing Notes
Pair with seared scallops in lemon butter sauce, grilled prosciutto wrapped asparagus, blue cheese artichoke dip, or lemon zest white chocolate.

One of the better Texas Viogniers I have tasted. An aromatic white for those who like a less acidic wine, but a smoother, oily texture without the full-on weight of a Chardonnay. Despite its high alcoholic volume, it does not finish hot in the throat. Normally a red-wine drinker, this is my go-to white wine of choice.
